Lund University Global Scholarship Program

Global Scholarship Program

Lund University is one of the top universities of the world. They rank in the top 0.4 percent in the world. They offer great scholarship programs to help talented students. Every year, the university takes in students who are talented from around the world. They offer scholarship programs to help these students financially.

Generally the recipients of the scholarship are students who are proven to have achieved consistently high grades in their previous studies and are assessed as a good fit for the program. This scholarship is one of the most competitive scholarships because merit is taken into criteria completely.

The scholarship program may cover 25%, 50%, 75%, or even up to 100% of the tuition fee. The percentage of the scholarship usually depends on the budget available to the program. The percentage of fees covered does not depend on the academic excellence of the student. The scholarship program will only cover the tuition fees and not the cost of living charges which have to be managed by the student. The following are the eligibility criteria for the scholarship given on the website of the university.

  • The citizens of countries other than the EU/EEA (and Switzerland) who need to pay a tuition fee.
  • They should have applied for graduate or post graduate level studies in the regular application rounds for a minimum of one semester of study (30 ECTS)

In 2014, $2.1 million were awarded in the scholarship grants. If you or someone you know excel academically and need scholarship, then visit the website of the university for more details. The applications are open till January 2015.
