India is a land of festivals. Some festivals are celebrated due to their religious significance while the others are celebrated for their cultural significance.

Here is a festival which is a combination of adventure, music, art and yoga.

The Covelong Point is a good destination for adventure seekers, music lovers and yoga freaks. It is a combination of all these events at a single point.

The festival will be held from August 17, 2018 to August 19, 2018 in Covelong Point Social Surf School, Kovalam village near Chennai.

If you want to participate in the international-level surf contest, then register online. You will have a chance to join and win prizes.

The fee for registration online is ₹500. But, it will close three days before the event. You can also register on the same day to participate in the surfing for which the fee is ₹1000

It is the most thrilling event for which surfers from all over the country gather.

Surfing lessons are offered to all those who are interested. It is a 20-minute session each day for which you have to register at the information desk at a prescribed fee.

Yoga festival is another event where you have interactive sessions with meditation teachers, alternative healers, sound therapists etc.

Yoga festival passes are available from ₹500 to ₹2500. One class pass is ₹500 and for one day class it is ₹1500. For total weekend pass, it is ₹2500.

You can enjoy the music at beach stage and surf turf stage. Artists of different genres and styles participate in the event.

Various types of artwork and images are exhibited. So, if you are an artist and want to showcase your talent, then you may contact the organizers.

Plenty of mouthwatering recipes are available at the festival. These include snacks and grills from local varieties to international flavors.
