The government recently approved the introduction of electric buses into public transportation. It approved 1,500 electric buses phase-wise. Overall, it aimed to procure around 2,000 buses in the coming years.
These low-floor electric buses will be introduced into the fleet of public transportation of the Delhi government. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is going to roll out 150 electric new buses today.
