Ways to download the COVID-19 vaccine certificate
Vaccination drive for COVID-19 has been going on in the country. Two vaccines, Covishield and Covaxin, have been approved for the vaccination drive in India. The vaccination process is done in different phases. Healthcare workers, senior citizens and those with comorbidities above 45 years of age have been vaccinated so far.
The government approved providing the vaccine for all citizens above 45 years from April 1, 2021.
After getting vaccinated for COVID-19, you can get the vaccine certificate. This certificate is essential for the second dose of the vaccine. You can download the certificate in various ways.
As soon as you get the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, you will get a link to your certificate. Authorities will send this link to your registered mobile number. Tap on the link to download your vaccine certificate. You have to verify your registered mobile number. After that, the COVID-19 vaccine certificate download page will be displayed. You can download the certificate on your mobile phone.
If you have the Aarogya Setu app, you can download it in the following way:
Open the app and go to the CoWin section. Choose the ‘Vaccination Certificate’ option. Enter your Beneficiary Reference ID and proceed to the ‘Get Certificate’ option. However, you should have the latest version of the Aarogya Setu app.
You can download the vaccine certificate from the CoWin app or website in the following way:
Open the app and enter your Beneficiary ID. Then search for the certificate. Download it after you find it. But, note that beneficiaries cannot register on the CoWin app for the vaccine. Yet, they can download the vaccine certificate from it. The CoWin app is meant for administrators only. Beneficiaries can register for vaccine through the portal.
