New CTET dates will be announced soon by CBSE
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) that was scheduled to be held on July 5, 2020, has been postponed. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the new dates soon.
The candidates who are going to appear for the test will have to check the CBSE website or CTET website for the new dates regularly.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, many exams in the country have been postponed and CTET is one among them.
While the candidates were waiting for admit cards to appear for the exam, they were announced the postponement of the exam.
This is the 14th edition of the Central Teachers Eligibility Test. The CBSE, while announcing the postponement of the exam asked the candidates to check the websites regularly for the new dates of the exam.
As per the sources, the new date of the examination will be announced soon.
More than 30 lakh candidates registered for the CTET 2020 exam.
The CTET exam is a minimum qualification for a person in order to become eligible to appoint as a teacher.
The CTET exam is conducted by the CBSE. The exam is aimed to improve the performance standards and sets national standards for the candidates who appear to qualify in them.
CTET exam will be conducted in 20 languages in 112 cities across the country.
All those who appear for the exam should bring the hard copy of the admit card for verification.
Due to COVID-19, extra health precautions are given to the candidates. They should bring sanitizer, water bottles and all other essential items while attending the exam.
The admit card will have the details of the exam centre, entry rules and instructions on timings.
Hence, candidates should read the instructions on the admit card carefully while appearing for the exam.
