Foods to eat in summer
Come summer and almost everyone wants to spend it in the coolest place possible. We seek shade and like to drink cool drinks. Due to the extreme heat that Indians face during summer, it is recommended to keep oneself hydrated. Here are some foods you can consume during summer.
Watermelon
This is without a doubt one of the best foods you can eat during summer. The high water content will replenish the fluids you might lose through sweating.
Strawberry
They are not only high in water content, but also rich in antioxidants. This is good nourishment for your skin.
Peaches
This fleshy fruit is rich in Vitamin A and potassium. It is very suitable for summer consumption as it prevents dehydration and increases your skin complexion.
Mango
Known as the king of fruit, they are very rich in Vitamins A, E, and C. It is a very tasty seasonal fruit and is not to be missed.
Oranges
Oranges being citrus fruits are extremely rich in Vitamin C. It is 80 percent water and helps in keeping your body hydrated as well as improve your immunity.
Coconut water
This natural is rich in electrolytes and will keep your body cool and hydrated. Be sure to have a drink of coconut water whenever you can.
