SBI opens applications for Specialist Cadre Posts
State Bank of India has announced a large-scale recruitment drive to strengthen its wealth management operations.
The bank is seeking skilled professionals for its Specialist Cadre Officer roles, and applications are now open through the official SBI website.
Candidates interested in building a career in wealth management should submit their applications on or before December 23, 2025, which is the final date for online registration.
This recruitment initiative covers 996 vacancies across three important positions within the bank.
The highest number of openings is for VP Wealth (Senior Relationship Manager), with 506 posts available.
These professionals will manage high-value clients and drive wealth advisory services.
The next major category is AVP Wealth (Relationship Manager), offering 206 posts.
These officers will support client portfolios and expand relationship-based banking services.
The bank also seeks to hire 284 Customer Relationship Executives, who will assist wealth managers and maintain strong client engagement. Together, these roles form the backbone of SBI’s rapidly growing wealth division.
To be eligible for any of these posts, candidates must hold a graduation degree from a government-recognised university or institution.
The bank has specified age-related guidelines for each position, and applicants must review the detailed notification to understand the exact requirements.
Educational qualifications, experience levels, and age limits vary slightly across the three job categories, making it essential for candidates to read the official instruction document before applying.
SBI will follow a structured selection process for these vacancies. First, the bank will shortlist candidates based on their academic background, work experience, and suitability for the role.
Shortlisted applicants will then attend one or more rounds of interviews, which may be conducted in person or through telephonic or video mode.
Each interview carries 100 marks, and the bank will decide the minimum qualifying score.
The final merit list will be prepared solely based on interview marks, arranged in descending order.
No written examination is involved, and the bank will not entertain any queries regarding the qualifying criteria.
The application fee is ₹750 for candidates belonging to the UR, EWS, and OBC categories. Applicants from SC, ST, and PwBD categories are exempt from payment.
Fees must be paid online through debit cards, credit cards, or internet banking.
Candidates should refer to the SBI website for detailed guidelines and timely updates.
