Zomato introduces ZFE for corporate food expenses
Zomato has introduced a groundbreaking platform, Zomato for Enterprise (ZFE). The new initiative is aimed at transforming the way companies handle food expenses.
Unveiled by CEO Deepinder Goyal, ZFE is designed to streamline the often tedious process of reimbursing corporate food orders.
Traditionally, employees had to pay for their meals upfront and then navigate a lengthy reimbursement process.
ZFE changes this dynamic by allowing employees to directly charge their business-related food orders to their employers, eliminating the need for personal payments.
This innovative platform not only eases the burden on employees but also gives companies enhanced control over their food-related spending.
Employers can set specific budgets, establish ordering rules, and manage employee access through ZFE, ensuring greater transparency and efficiency.
This system reduces administrative overhead while offering a seamless experience for all parties involved.
The launch of ZFE is particularly timely, following Zomato’s recent decision to discontinue its “Intercity Legends” service.
Despite the initial buzz, Intercity Legends, which delivered iconic dishes from various cities across India, failed to gain traction and was ultimately shut down.
Zomato’s quick shift to ZFE highlights the company’s adaptability and commitment to addressing real customer needs.
Already, more than 100 leading companies have adopted ZFE, contributing valuable feedback that has shaped the platform’s features.
The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with many lauding the platform for its practicality, ease of use, and potential to simplify corporate food management.
Besides, Zomato launched a new feature to schedule your food orders two days in advance. But, the orders should be above ₹1,000. It is currently available in seven major cities, including Delhi and Bengaluru.
As Zomato continues to diversify its offerings, ZFE emerges as a promising solution for businesses across India.
By integrating convenience, transparency, and innovation, ZFE is set to redefine how companies manage food expenses. At the same time, it offers a more efficient and employee-friendly approach to corporate dining.
