Kochi girl donates part of liver to her father
To save her father, a 17-year-old girl in Kochi, Kerala, donated a part of her liver to him by getting approval from the Kerala High Court. The existing laws in India do not allow minors to donate organs. But, the girl got the exemption from the Kerala HC. Through this organ donation, she became the youngest organ donor in India.
