Jagadish Mooki, a 25-year-old successful YouTuber hailing from Parasapur village in Kalaghatgi taluk, has made a remarkable contribution to his community.

With the support of his YouTube audience, Jagadish collected ₹5 lakhs and secured a bank loan to purchase an ambulance. This helps enable him to provide free assistance to patients in surrounding villages during medical emergencies.

Jagadish’s journey into philanthropy began when he bought a car with the earnings from his YouTube channel.

His channel’s popularity has grown, generating an average monthly income of ₹60,000, all thanks to his dedicated audience.

Residents of his village often approached Jagadish for help during health emergencies, and he assisted whenever possible.

However, there were instances when he couldn’t respond due to being out of town.

It was these experiences that led him to the decision to buy an ambulance. He reached out to his fans, who generously contributed ₹5.16 lakhs, with individual donations ranging from ₹100 to ₹10,000.

To finance the rest of the ambulance’s cost, he secured a bank loan.

Expressing his commitment to this initiative, he acknowledged the responsibility of paying off the loan and ensuring a driver for the ambulance.

He viewed it as a heartfelt endeavour to serve his community.

Since starting his YouTube channel in 2012, Jagadish has produced 970 videos under the title Udaala Member.

Initially, he had little knowledge of the monetization process. His channel gained significant traction in 2018 when one of his videos garnered over one lakh views in just 24 hours.

Drawing from his experience in TV serials during college, Jagadish possessed the necessary skills for shooting, editing, mixing, and other aspects of content production.

He began uploading songs he wrote and composed, ultimately monetizing his channel in 2019. Now, he regularly uploads videos on Saturdays, focusing on realistic content that resonates with his audience.

His channel has featured around 200 artists, both young and senior, who contribute to his videos.

He compensates them based on their talent and roles. In addition to his YouTube venture, Jagadish is involved in agriculture and photography within his village.

His journey from a YouTube sensation to a compassionate community helper exemplifies the positive impact individuals can make when they leverage their resources and talents for the greater good.
