Srikakulam city-based feather artist Vadada Rahul has captured hearts and minds with his extraordinary miniature artworks.

His talent is unique, as he paints intricate designs on feathers, leaves, and even grains of rice.

Through his art, Rahul sparks thought and awareness on various societal issues while celebrating significant national moments.

Recently, Vadada Rahul’s artwork received significant attention when he created a feather painting to honour the return of Indian-origin NASA astronaut Sunita Williams after her 286-day mission aboard the International Space Station.

The piece, painted with acrylics on a pigeon feather, quickly captivated the nation.

This work, like many of Rahul’s other creations, highlights not only his artistic talent but also his strong sense of national pride.

Rahul’s diverse subjects include iconic themes such as Lord Rama’s idol Prana Pratishtha at Ayodhya, the victories of the Indian cricket team, and festivals of Hindu deities.

Over the years, Rahul’s efforts have earned him numerous awards, including the Picasso Award, the DadaSaheb Phalke Award, and the Leonardo Da Vinci International Art Award.

His name appears in global records, including the Guinness Book of World Records and the American Book of World Records. In 2022, he was awarded a gold medal for his achievements.
