Saris to Suits – An Innovative Calendar Campaign

Saris to Suits is an innovative calendar campaign established by Patti Tripathi, a former anchor of CNN news to extend support to abused and assaulted women. It is aimed to assist SPARCC in Sarasota and Raksha in Atlanta regions by selling the calendars. SPARCC is an acronym for Safe Place Rape Crisis Center and Raksha serves the immigrant community of South Asian region.

Saris to Suits will feature the successful and inspirational women of South Asian heritage. Now the 2nd empowered calendar for 2015-2016 is present on their website.  The digital calendar costs $10 and the physical calendar is $15.  This has a total of 36 pages and is designed with exceptional quotes and inspirational women. The motive of this calendar in portraying inspirational women is to empower women by uplifting their dignity and inspiring young girls to fulfill their dream of living in America by their education and hard work. Thus, Saris to Suits promotes awareness on gender violence and discrimination in South Asian Communities and other immigrant communities.
