From IIT to 13 government jobs: Nagendra’s story of determination

Success often belongs to those who refuse to stop after repeated setbacks.

At just 29, Kadapa’s Lomada Nagendra Sai has achieved an extraordinary milestone. The IIT Kharagpur graduate secured 13 Central Government job offers in 2025.

Consequently, his remarkable achievement has inspired countless competitive exam aspirants across India.

Nagendra Sai completed his five-year Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech in Industrial and Systems Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. Initially, he planned to build a career in the IT sector.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted campus placements and changed his career path. Therefore, he shifted his focus towards government employment.

He began preparing for competitive examinations in 2022 through online learning platforms. Although his first attempts brought disappointment, he continued improving his strategy.

Later, he joined a coaching institute in Hyderabad and strengthened his preparation through disciplined study. As a result, his consistent efforts produced outstanding results in 2025.

Nagendra Sai appeared for nearly 30 recruitment examinations during the year. Eventually, he earned selections in 13 prestigious Central Government posts across multiple departments.

In the AIIMS Common Recruitment Examination, he secured appointments as Social Security Officer (Level 7) and Upper Division Clerk (Level 4). Moreover, he qualified as Upper Division Clerk in the Central Pollution Control Board recruitment.

His achievements continued through SSC Combined Graduate Level 2025, where he secured the post of Statistical Investigator Grade II (Level 6). Furthermore, SSC Phase XIII Recruitment brought him several additional selections.

These included Surveyor, Assistant Communication Officer, Telecom Assistant, Fumigation Assistant, Surveillance Assistant, Fieldman, Assistant Administrator (HR), and Assistant Village Industry Administrator.

These appointments covered Levels 2 to 6, highlighting his versatility across different recruitment streams.

Besides these achievements, he also performed strongly in nine Navy INCET examinations, with final results still awaited.

Eventually, he selected the most suitable opportunity and joined the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation as Branch Manager at Mahabubnagar, Telangana.

Nagendra Sai credits disciplined preparation, subject clarity, and regular practice for his success.

Additionally, he encourages aspirants to apply for every relevant Central Government notification instead of limiting themselves to popular examinations.

According to him, persistence, smart preparation, and consistency create opportunities.

His journey proves that determination can transform repeated failures into exceptional success.
