11-year-old child prodigy passes SSC with 94%
An 11-year-old child prodigy from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh has recently made headlines for her exceptional academic achievements.
Chirra Anagha Lakshmi scored an impressive 566 marks in her Class 10 exams. She is the daughter of Chirra Vishnuvardhan Reddy and Satya Devi. She has an elder sibling.
Lakshmi’s father works at the State Bank of India after retiring from the Indian Navy.
Lakshmi earned recognition in several record-keeping books, including Noble World Records and the India Book of Records.
Since a young age, Lakshmi has shown an eagerness to learn Mathematics and solve puzzles. Her mother is a trainer in Abacus and Vedic Mathematics. She recognized her daughter’s talent and provided constant encouragement.
Lakshmi first topped the Spell Bee contest and went on to win gold, silver, and bronze medals in Olympiad Exams.
Living in Chittoor at the time, Lakshmi received guidance from renowned mathematics Avadhani Arun Shiva Prasad.
In 2021, she participated in the Ganitha Sathavadhanam event. In that event, 108 mathematics teachers asked as many as 108 different questions to the participants.
Lakshmi could answer all of them. She spellbound everyone as she did not use pen and paper.
With her exceptional talent for answering arithmetic categorization questions quickly, she scripted her name in the book Noble World Records at the tender age of 9.
Lakshmi can answer tables, squares, cubes, square roots, and cube roots of up to 100 when asked in no particular order. It earned her recognition in the India Book of Records.
She also received an award at the Dasavadhanam organized by Acharya Nagarjuna University.
Due to her outstanding academic achievements, she was allowed to take the public exams by Praveen Prakash, School Education Department Principal Secretary.
Chirra Anagha Lakshmi’s exceptional mathematical abilities have made her a role model for many young students in India.
Her dedication, hard work, and natural talent have earned her recognition in several record-keeping books. Also, it inspired many to pursue Mathematics with a passion.
