Shopsense is a Mumbai-based startup. It was founded in 2012 by IIT Bombay graduates. The main aim of Shopsense is to make shopping a fun filled activity by deploying technology. Farooq Adam, Harsh Shah and Sreeraman MG are the cofounders of the firm.

Generally, many people who visit shops need to choose the clothes and check the size at trial rooms. All this leads to wastage of much time. The founders of the Shopsense thought if anything could be done to avoid this time waste. Later, they designed Shopsense Match to save the time of consumers who visit the cloth stores and waste their time majorly in trial rooms to check the compatibility of the apparels they have chosen.

One of the great products of Shopsense is Shopsense Match. This product is very useful for fashion retailers. Shopsense Match is an in-store engagement platform. It is designed on huge capacitive touchscreens. With it, customers can simply browse the products at the store, they discover the new products and share them with their friends and get feedback from them through social networking or emails.

Match enables the customers to mix and match the different looks with various clothes at the store. In other words, it saves time as customers can check how a shirt or pant appears along with the pant or shirt without wearing it in trial room. All this can be done virtually, so it saves a lot of time. Another benefit with this product is customers can just explore the whole collection of store at one place by tapping on the touchscreen.

Customers can furthermore get product recommendations through the recommendation engine. They can navigate through product inventory. All data is provided in real time through stores which helps to track sales, performance and engagement.

At present, Shopsense Match is installed in 60 stores in 12 cities. These locations are Chandigarh, Mumbai, Pune, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Noida, Dehradun, Kochi and Surat.
