Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro launched
Xiaomi is a Chinese smartphone maker, whose presence is growing in India. Now, after having launched the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, the company has launched the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro in India.
This is the global debut of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and India is the first to get the device. Later, the device will be shipped to other regions around the world for people to buy.
The starting price tag of the new smartphone is ₹13,999 for the 4GB RAM version and ₹16,999 for the 6GB RAM version.
The smartphone will be competing for customers with the Honor 7X, the Honor 9i, and the Moto G5S Plus.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro will come with several features, such as a dual rear camera setup. It also has 12MP and 5MP sensors with LED flash at the rear end. The 12MP camera is the primary camera, and it has an aperture of f/2.2.
The 5MP camera is the secondary camera, and it has an aperture of f/2.0. This phone is also the first Xiaomi smartphone to sport a 20MP selfie camera, which comes with LED flash.
This front camera comes with Beautify 4.0, which improves and enhances selfies. Users can also use this front camera to unlock their smartphone.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, and it runs the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with MIUI 9.
Just like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, this device has a full screen display.
The display is 5.99 inches and in full HD+, with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2160 pixel resolution. Both the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM versions have 64GB of storage. It has a 4000mAh battery, and it offers several connectivity options.
The smartphone can connect to Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth, and GPS.
