Highlights of India Vs New Zealand ODI

- Dhawan also hit his ODI career’s 50th six in this match as well. By doing so, he became the 5th opener from India to perform it. He also finished his 1000 ODI runs on Indian soil in a total of 25 matches. Rohit Sharma is the first one to achieve this among his counterparts followed by Shikhar Dhawan to achieve this.
- Dinesh Karthik made his 9th ODI half-century in this match. He remained unbeaten on 64 in his 64th international innings.
- Mahendra Singh Dhoni completed 9801 runs in the ODIs. He is just 199 runs short to reach the milestone of completing 10,000 runs.
- Dhoni has crossed 200 ODI catches on Indian soil with the catch of Martin Guptill. With 201 catches were in his account with this catch from 223 innings on the homeland.
- Best bowling performance was shown by Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/45) with New Zealand in ODIs. He also achieved his fourth Man of the Match award in ODIs and his first against New Zealand. Moreover, this is his first Man of the Match award on the homeland in ODIs.
- Six wickets were captured by Indian fast bowlers, 3 by Kumar, 2 by Bumrah and one by Hardik Pandya.
