Bengalureans can use these labs for COVID-19 test at their home
The number of coronavirus cases and asymptomatic cases are increasing in the country.
Some people who have mild symptoms are neglecting to go for a COVID-19 test. There are many reasons for it. One of the most common reasons is that the test centres are crowded which might increase the risk of infection.
People like senior citizens, pregnant women and others with comorbidities are also avoiding testing due to crowd.
To help them, some private clinics and government labs are providing COVID-19 testing at your home in Bengaluru.
Bengaluru became one of the most common hotspots for COVID-19. Hence, testing facilities have been increased in the state.
Bangalore Bruhat Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) initiated mobile testing labs for COVID-19 and fever clinics. They collect samples from the people at their home. The test costs around ₹3,750. Contact them at 9902156278.
Shree Poly Clinic and Lab collects samples at your home as per the guidelines of the government. You can book a prior appointment at 9986659710.
Thyrocare provides two types of tests – Antibody Test using the ELISA method and Antibody-GT Test through ELISA and CLIA. Cost of the tests is ₹600 and ₹1,000. Book your test date through a mobile application.
Infinity Diagnostic labs offers antibody test at ₹1,350. You have to give your blood sample for this. This test gives faster results, yet it is not as effective as RT-PCR examination, which is a standard test for COVID-10. Call them at 8660922014.
SRL Diagnostic labs launched a mobile clinic in May to conduct tests. Contact them at 1800222000.
Manipal Hospital offers home sample collection service. You can book your appointment using their helpline 9591140000.
Aster Labs offer a home sample collection facility. The test costs at ₹4,500. You can register your appointment through their helpline 080-45553333.
Apollo Diagnostics also offers home sample collection service. Call them on 9205478479.
