Unique Cowshed that Inspires Dairy Farms
The unique method used by Parag Milk Foods makes it an inspiration for many diaries across India. Devendra Shah, the founder of Parag Milk foods uses human treatment of cows to help them produce more amount of milk in their cowsheds. Cows in this diary have a distinct and comforting lifestyle.
The cows to listen to soothing music and lie on smooth mattresses. The cows are kept cool by spraying cool water on them. At the time of milking, the cows are taken to a rotatory platform where, an electronic machine is used to milk them. It takes only six workers to complete the milking process.
The unique treatment of Devendra Shah has helped the cows produce 14 litres of milk on a day as opposed to the average of 7. Cows here follow discipline. They eat the grass that is fed to them and do not fight with others. Once the milking process is done, the cows go to their places in an orderly fashion.
The cowsheds follow the motto that a healthy cow is more productive. Employees or any visitors are required to sanitize themselves before going in. Even the vehicles that arrive are cleaned. The ceiling is fitted with speakers which plays various genres of music at all times except when the cows are sleeping. The health of cows is monitored with various radio based equipment.
