SBI Youth for India | Fusion - WeRIndia

Do you want become a real leader? Are your willing to dedicate one year of your life to transform rural India? If you say yes, then this article is written for you.

SBI Youth For India is a fellowship programme which is intended to individuals that are passionate about changing the lives of rural Indians. As more than two thirds of Indian population are in rural areas, the rural India is the Real India and the change in rural India will bring a real change in India.

Any Indian graduate between 21 to 32 years of age at the time of commencement of batch are eligible for applying this fellowship. Last date for submitting the completed application will be closed for this year as it is on June 30, 2014. The duration of programme is one year. SBI pays Rs. 14,000 of fellowship during the programme to meet the living expenses.

There will be two batches for each year, one starts in September and another in November. Selected candidates will have to stay near the project sites in rural areas. SBI staff and associated NGOs will help the selected fellows in finding suitable accommodations. Programme structure includes training, project work and impact assessments. Fellows will have to publish their findings in journals and other print media. Check  SBI website for additional details.
