Have you heard of the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels train? It offers a unique experience for any who likes to experience authenticity in style. With the huge success of Palace on Wheels, the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation along with Indian Railways launched Royal Rajasthan on Wheels. The train had its maiden journey on 11th of January, 2009. This train is made for luxury and attracts anyone who is interested in travelling luxuriously.

In order to provide a unique style for the passengers, the train has a mix of ethnic and modern design. The train travels through past princely states of Rajasthan along with a selection of heritage destinations including Jodhpur, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Sawai Madhopur and Jaipur in Rajasthan along with temples of Khajuraho, sacred Ghats of Varanasi. The journey finishes with the city of Taj, Agra.

The operators of the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels kept working on it to improve its experience. They improved and upgraded the itinerary to improve the royal experience. They regularly work on new features to add to the train.

Previously, the focus of the train was mainly on destinations in Rajasthan only. After several changes, the train also includes popular tourist attractions to offer the best possible value for money.

The train offers a luxurious and comfortable stay with its 13 deluxe and a super deluxe saloons. The interiors and exteriors are artfully decorated by expert decorators. Passengers will have access to state of the art amenities. The train obviously has facilities like air conditioning, an electronic safe, channel music and Wi-Fi internet access and attached bathrooms.

Passengers can go for the retro lounges and super deluxe saloon. Since the number of passengers of this train is limited, guests will have more space. Passengers can also interact with each other in the common lounge of the train. There is even a spa to help rejuvenate tired passengers or just help them relax.
