Pulwama Attack mastermind killed by Indian soldiers

In a breakthrough encounter, the mastermind of Pulwama terror attack was killed by Indian soldiers.

The Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) commander and the mastermind terror attack of Pulwama Abdul Rasheed Ghazi alias Kamran was shot dead yesterday in a fierce encounter between Indian army and the militants.

India lost four soldiers including a Major in an overnight encounter that was carried out for 12 hours.

Abdul Rasheed Ghazi was an IED specialist. He was responsible for recruiting, training and radicalizing terrorists in the Kashmir Valley.


He was the person who trained Adil Ahmed Dar, the terrorist of Pulwama attack.

The death of Ghazi is considered as a big boost for the security forces as he was one of the closest aides of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar.

Ghazi crossed the border in the month of January as per trusted sources and hid in Pulwama for a big explosion.

Intelligence says that 15 Jaish militants had infiltrated into India via Poonch including Ghazi last month. He arrived with equipment and other explosives to train local Kashmiri youth to carry out an attack on Indian security forces.

In the dastardly terror attack at Pulwama, more than 40 CRPF lost their lives on February 14. The entire nation is mourning for its martyrs and is demanding revenge on enemies.

The security forces are searching Ghazi since the Pulwama attack. At last, he was shot dead by the armed forces.

Another terrorist that died in the encounter was Hilal Ahmed, a bomb specialist from Kashmir.

The encounter started when Indian forces found them hiding in the Pinglan area. The targeted operation was launched by Indian forces late on Sunday.

A civilian was also killed in this fight.
