In a momentous stride towards bolstering India’s strategic autonomy, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar is set to flag off the first indigenous Drishti 10 Starliner Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for the Navy today.

The event is to be held at the Adani Aerospace Park in Hyderabad. It marks a pivotal achievement in the nation’s quest for technological leadership and self-reliance in high-endurance and indigenised advanced aerial systems.

Adani Defence and Aerospace is the driving force behind this groundbreaking initiative. It actively contributes to India’s defence and security self-sufficiency while aiming for global leadership in the sector.

The company has already made substantial strides, establishing capabilities in diverse domains. These include small arms, unmanned aerial vehicles, radars, and many more.


This broad spectrum of capabilities supports not only the Navy but also other paramilitary forces.

The establishment of India’s first unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturing facility and private sector small arms manufacturing facility is a testament to Adani Defence’s commitment to advancing the nation’s defence capabilities.

Additionally, the company is in the process of setting up India’s inaugural comprehensive Aircraft MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility, ensuring compliance with international safety and airworthiness standards.

With the ever-growing threat of rogue drones, Adani Defence is pushing the boundaries of technological innovation. In addition, it is also actively developing counter-drone systems for both defence and civil applications.

This proactive approach aligns with the evolving security landscape, addressing emerging challenges and reinforcing the nation’s preparedness against potential threats.

Adani Defence’s comprehensive ecosystem, encompassing Tier 1 and Tier 2 capabilities across the defence supply chain, uniquely positions the company to integrate larger platforms seamlessly.
