Harvard University to open International Office in Mumbai | Fusion - WeRIndia

The renowned US University, Harvard, is all set to open its international office in Mumbai. In addition to Mumbai, Harvard is also set to open its offices in Cape Town and Beijing. These offices enable research and academic work for the partners of Harvard University in these regions.

According to the University authorities, the proposed office in Mumbai is in the initial stages of development when compared to the offices in Cape Town and Beijing. Indian government is yet to approve the proposal of Harvard University to open its office in Mumbai for its School of Public Health. The University expects the approval of Indian government by this summer.

The international office in Cape Town is estimated to open by the end of 2015 or early 2016, and the probable office in Beijing would be associated with the current Harvard Center at Shanghai. All these offices are not just used for the research and academic work for the partners of Harvard in these regions, but also connect 16 other offices of Harvard across the world. These offices include various offices located  in Latin America, locations of business schools across Asia, and the Medical School Research Center which was recently opened in Dubai.
