The embassy also issued an advisory for them. It urged them to continue staying at their locations safe.

It asked them to remain at the same location, like home, hostel, or transit. It also asked all of them to carry their passport and other necessary documents all the time.

The advisory suggested people who are travelling to Kyiv return to their respective cities, especially to safer places.

Besides issuing an advisory to stranded citizens in Ukraine, the Indian embassy also makes arrangements to relocate them to the western part of the country.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) set up a control room in Delhi to assist Indian students and other citizens in Ukraine. The control room operates 24×7.

Besides issuing an advisory to stranded citizens in Ukraine, the Indian embassy is making arrangements to relocate them to the western part of the country.

Notably, many Indian students and citizens were stranded in Ukraine. The embassy assured them of making necessary arrangements for their relocation to safer places.

All special flights to and from Ukraine were cancelled due to the closure of Ukrainian airspace.

More than 20,000 Indians, including students and others, are located in different parts of Ukraine. The authorities are trying to relocate them soon to other places by making alternative arrangements, as the issue is sensitive.
