RBI announces Grade B Recruitment 2024 | Fusion - WeRIndia

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) issued a recruitment notification for 94 Grade B officer positions.

The application process will commence on July 25 and conclude on August 16. Eligible candidates can apply through the official RBI website.

The application fee is ₹850 for candidates from general, OBC and EWS categories, while candidates from other reserved categories like SC, ST and physically challenged can pay ₹100.

The total positions are 94, of which 66 posts are Officers Grade B (DR) General. 21 posts are in the Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR) while the remaining 7 posts are under the Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM).

A Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks is required for the post of officer Grade B for general candidates. However, 50% of marks are sufficient for  SC, ST and physically challenged candidates.

Those with a Master’s degree in any subject with 55% marks in the general category can also apply while just passing is sufficient for the reserved category.

A Master’s degree in Economics or Finance, or a PGDM/MBA is essential for the post of officer Grade B DEPR.

For the post of officer Grade B DSIM, a Master’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics with at least 55% marks in all semesters or years is required. However, 50% marks are enough for SC or ST candidates.

Online exams are conducted for these posts in two phases. The first phase of online exams for Officers Grade B (DR) General will be on September 08 while the second phase will be conducted on October 19.

For the other two category officer posts the first phase of the online exam will be conducted on September 14 and the second phase of exams will be on October 26.

Please note that the DEPR category will have two papers in each session. However, the DSIM category will have paper one in the first phase, and papers two and three in the second phase of exams.
