DTL Recruitment 2026: 65 Assistant Manager Trainee Posts
Engineering graduates with a valid GATE 2026 score have a new government-sector opportunity in Delhi.
Delhi Transco Limited (DTL) is recruiting candidates for 65 Assistant Manager Trainee positions across multiple engineering streams.
The largest share of vacancies is available in Electrical Engineering, with 55 posts on offer.
In addition, DTL has five openings for Technical Trainees in the Non-Electrical category. Another five positions are available for Assistant Manager Trainee in Civil Engineering.
DTL opened the application window on August 17, 2026. The closing date will be 15 days after the notification is published in Employment News.
The expected deadline is around September 1, 2026. Since the final date depends on the publication date, candidates should check the official DTL notification before applying.
Applicants must normally be between 18 and 28 years old. Age relaxation will apply to eligible reserved categories under government norms.
The recruitment is aimed at engineering graduates holding degrees in prescribed disciplines.
Eligible streams include Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Computer Science and Civil Engineering.
Candidates must also have a valid GATE 2026 score in the relevant paper.
DTL will use GATE 2026 normalised marks for selection. There will be no additional written examination or personal interview.
This makes the GATE score a crucial factor for candidates competing for these positions.
Selected candidates will receive remuneration under Pay Level-09 during training. After absorption into regular service, they will be placed in Pay Level-10, according to the applicable rules.
The application fee is ₹500 for General, OBC and EWS candidates. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwBD categories do not have to pay the fee.
The payment must be made through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Delhi Transco Limited, payable at New Delhi.
Applicants must first submit the prescribed form online. They must then send the required physical documents and application copy through Speed Post.
Candidates should retain proof of submission and carefully follow every document requirement.
With limited vacancies and GATE-based selection, eligible candidates should avoid waiting until the final day.
They should verify their qualification, GATE paper and category requirements before submitting the application.
