Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2026
The Indian Navy has opened a major opportunity for graduates seeking a career as commissioned officers.
Applications are invited for the Short Service Commission (SSC) Jun 2027 (AT 27) Course, offering appointments across multiple branches of the Navy.
Eligible unmarried male and female candidates can apply for officer-level posts in 12 branches, including Executive, Pilot, Naval Armament, Engineering, Electrical, Education, Logistics, and Naval Constructor.
The online application process will begin on 25 June 2026, while the deadline for submission is 27 July 2026.
Selected candidates will undergo training at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, starting from June 2027.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy SSC Recruitment 2026
- Candidates must fulfil educational, age, and nationality requirements before submitting applications. Most branches require a BE or B.Tech degree with at least 60% marks in the relevant discipline.
- For branches like Pilot, Naval Air Operations Officer, and Air Traffic Controller, candidates must also meet Class 10 and 12 academic requirements, including minimum marks in English.
- The Logistics branch accepts candidates with qualifications such as BE/B.Tech, MBA, B.Sc, B.Com, MCA, or M.Sc IT, depending on the specified criteria.
- Specialised branches have discipline-specific requirements. For example, Engineering posts accept degrees in Mechanical, Marine, Aeronautical, Production, and related fields.
- Electrical branches require qualifications in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, or related engineering streams.
