Apply for Eastern Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2024 | Fusion - WeRIndia

Eastern Railway has announced a recruitment drive under the sports quota for Group C and Group D positions.

This initiative aims to fill 60 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online through the official websites.

The registration process had already been started on November 15, 2024. It will conclude on December 14, 2024.

The recruitment drive is aimed at filling the vacancy details as follows:

• Group ‘C’, Level-4/Level-5: 5 posts
• Group ‘C’, Level-2/Level-3: 16 posts
• Group ‘D’, Level-1 (7th CPC): 39 posts

Educational qualifications are as follows:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a government-recognized institution for Level-4 or Level-5 posts.
• For Level-2 or Level-3 posts, it is a 12th-grade (10+2) pass or equivalent from a recognized board/institution. Those who passed 10th with Course Completed Act Apprenticeship can also apply for these posts.
• For Level-1 posts, the education qualification is a 10th pass or equivalent. Candidates who have an ITI qualification or a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCVT can also apply for these posts.

The age limit for the applicants is 18-25 years old as of January 1, 2025.

The selection comprises three stages:

• Sports Achievements: Evaluation of recognized achievements (50 marks).
• Trials: Assessment of skills, fitness, and coach observations (40 marks).
• Educational Qualification: Academic credentials (10 marks).

Eligible candidates can download the e-call letter for trials and assessments from the official website.

The application fee is ₹500 for general candidates. However, for candidates from other categories like SC, ST, Women, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes, the fee is ₹250.

Fees can be paid online through debit cards, credit cards, or internet banking.
