92-year-old inspires youth by setting to run TCS World 10K
TCS World has been hosting the marathon events for more than 10 years in Bengaluru. This year also, it is hosting the event for a week starting from December 20, 2020. Participants can complete their chosen race category between December 20 to 27, 2020. Many athletes are participating in the event.
N S Dattatreya, a 92-year-old man is all set to join the TCS World 10K Bengaluru. He is a retired bank manager. He suddenly developed an interest in marathons and walkathons. Due to his passion, he participated in 90 such events in the past. Out of them, 48 are physical events and 42 are virtual running events, including 21st Asia Masters Athletics Championship. He bagged five gold medals in different categories.
Dattatreya inspires many people, especially the youth across the country. One of them is Kuldip Singh Jadav. He met Dattrateya in a running event and shared his experience. This 92-year-old man changed the perspective of Jadav. Jadav has been participating in the running and cycling events to the maximum possible extent since he met Dattatreya.
Meanwhile, Dattatreya says that it would be great to be an inspiration for someone. He wants to be a role model for many young people and inspire them. He wants to be fit and that’s why he chose running.
If you want to join the TCS World 10K, you have to register with them by paying ₹499. Anyone above the age of 15 years can participate in the event. You can even join the 5K event. Applications will be opened till December 25, 2020.
Participants can join TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2020 from a location of their preference by downloading the TCSW10K App.
