Kerala Couple’s wedding plan postponed four times
Whatever you call it, destiny or fate plays a vital role in the lives of people as they believe. Here is an instance of Kerala couple whose marriage was postponed four times.
The couple Premchandran (26) and Sandra (23) hailed from Eranhipalan. They are childhood friends. They wanted to marry. Initially, their marriage was scheduled for May 20, 2018.
However, due to the outbreak of Nipah virus early in May which affected the Kozhikode and Malappuram districts, a ban had been placed on social gatherings.
Hence their marriage was postponed to conduct after a month or so after the Nipah outbreak subsided.
But after a month, when the kin thought about their marriage, a close relative of bridegroom died and hence they couldn’t conduct their marriage for a year.
In this context, their marriage was rescheduled to a later date. While it was supposed to be held during Onam holidays of 2019, the state witnessed devastating floods at that time.
As a result, their families decided to conduct the marriage on March 20, 2020. The couple invited more than 2,000 guests for their wedding and pre-wedding parties.
Since it is a special event, they wanted all the people associated with them to be part of it. All preparations were also made. Shopping and other things had been finished.
But, this time, the deadly coronavirus is the villain which hindered their plan. The impact of coronavirus is severe and there is a ban on social gatherings and other events.
People are not allowed to come outside except for essential things like medicines. In this context, their marriage was postponed again. It has been rescheduled to be held in September.
The couple says that they would wait for a better time for the precious event in their life.
