Ways to make him/her happy
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. If you have a great relationship with that special someone cherishing it and keeping it up is important. A successful relation takes some work. Here are some ways you can make your boyfriend/girlfriend happy.
Show that you care
You need to show your partner that you care. Start by complimenting him/her. Make sure it is genuine. Be specific about what you like in him/her.
Show some affection
Showing your affection is a great way of telling that you care about your partner. Willing to show it in a public way is also a great thing. Of course, there is no need to do PDA. Holding hands or kissing are great ways to show affection.
Appreciate your partner for what they do
Your partner could be doing something for the sake of you or your relationship. This could be like doing two jobs to buy gifts or anything. Be specific when you show your appreciation.
Put your partner’s needs before yours
This is a great way of showing that you care. You don’t need to do this every time, but making sacrifices for your partner is a great way to express love.
Dignity and respect
Treat your partner the way you want to be treated. Every relationship is unique. Know the dynamics of yours.
Communicate and take advice
Share your thoughts and ideas with your partner. Be open to taking ideas from them. This shows you respect their advice.
Go beyond expectations
Try to surprise your partner with romantic gestures. Sometimes grand gestures work well even though they might seem clichéd.
Show them you know them
Show your partner you know their likes and dislikes by getting gifts that they would like.
Personal space
Everyone needs some personal space; As long as your partner is giving you attention, you should let him/her have some space of his/her own. Trust should always exist and it is a two-way street.
