Flipkart Axis Bank credit card’s lounge access ends
Credit card benefits frequently change to align with evolving customer preferences and market strategies.
Recently, Axis Bank revised the features of its widely used Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card, introducing key updates that affect both travel perks and shopping rewards.
From June 6, 2025, the four complimentary airport lounge accesses will no longer be available.
Axis Bank has informed all users about this change. This move removes a travel-related perk that many customers valued.
However, the core value of the card remains intact, especially for online shoppers.
A key improvement is the increase in cashback on Myntra. Cardholders will now earn 7.5% cashback, up from 1%, capped at ₹4,000 per statement quarter. This is a big plus for fashion shoppers.
Other cashback benefits continue unchanged:
- 5% cashback on Flipkart and Cleartrip purchases.
- Unlimited 4% cashback on PVR, Swiggy, Cult.fit, and Uber.
- Unlimited 1% cashback on all other eligible spends.
These benefits make it a strong lifestyle and shopping card. Frequent users on partner platforms can earn significant cashback monthly.
The Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card continues to offer valuable lifestyle benefits. Cardholders enjoy up to 15% off, capped at ₹500, at select restaurants via EasyDiner.
Additionally, it provides a 1% fuel surcharge waiver on transactions between ₹400 and ₹4,000 at fuel stations across India, adding extra savings for both dining and daily commuting expenses.
The Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card continues to deliver strong value at an affordable price.
The joining fee is ₹500, with an annual fee of ₹500 from the second year. This fee is waived if annual spending crosses ₹3,50,000.
While the loss of lounge access may disappoint frequent flyers, shoppers still enjoy rich rewards.
The increased Myntra cashback and unchanged cashback structure keep the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card appealing, especially for online and lifestyle spenders.
