No talks on Kashmir, terror will be met with Force: India

Tensions between India and Pakistan remain high even after a recent ceasefire.

India has made its position clear: there will be no talks on Kashmir.

After US President Donald Trump offered to mediate on the Kashmir issue, Indian sources strongly rejected any third-party intervention.

They reiterated that Kashmir remains a strictly bilateral matter between India and Pakistan. India’s long-standing policy on the issue remains unchanged, with no room for international mediation or negotiation.

The ceasefire came after four days of intense hostilities. India conducted precision strikes targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan.

In response, Pakistan attacked civilian and military sites with drones and missiles. President Trump announced a ceasefire, which was confirmed by both nations. However, India clarified that the decision followed a direct military conversation between both sides.

President Trump praised the ceasefire and expressed hope for a peaceful resolution to the Kashmir issue. He also promised increased trade with both nations. However, India remains unwavering in its stand.

Sources pointed out that Pakistan triggered the recent escalation with an attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22, which killed 26 people.

India’s strikes, including one on Bahawalpur, a key base of Jaish-e-Mohammed, were a response to terrorism.

India stated that the action targeted the leadership of terrorist networks, not Pakistani soldiers. The message was clear: India will strike at the root of terror.

Indian officials warned that predictable responses are a thing of the past. Declaring “uncertainty is the new normal,” they made it clear that India will no longer tolerate terrorism from Pakistan while maintaining peace or normal diplomatic and cooperative ties.

The Indus Waters Treaty remains suspended. India linked this to continued acts of terrorism from Pakistan. Cooperation cannot continue while attacks persist.

India has drawn a firm line. Talks on Kashmir are off the table. The country will continue to act decisively against terror threats.
