This Indian husband and wife team is the first couple to win the world marathon challenge. The Hyderabad based Uma Chigurupati and Krishna Prasad Chigurupati are the first couple to complete the world marathon challenge. In this challenge, they completed seven half marathons in 7 continents in 7 days.

What is even more astonishing here is the fact that Krishna is 60 years old and his wife Uma is 53 years old. When Krishna turned 60, the couple has decided to do something memorable. That decision led them to be the first couple to have completed and win these half marathons across seven continents. Some of these marathons are conducted on very harsh terrains.
