ISRO also released an image of a crater on the surface of the moon that was taken by the orbiter of Chandrayaan-2.
ISRO is trying to re-establish the communication with the lander by sending communication signals.
Chandrayaan-2, the prestigious lunar mission was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on July 22.
The descent of the lander was normal during the Chandrayaan 2 soft landing phase up to an altitude of 2.1 km.
Chandrayaan-2 is the most ambitious mission of India.
