India’s agri-tech sector is seeing rapid digital transformation, and AGRIM is leading the way.

Founded in 2020 by Avi Jain and Mukul Garg, AGRIM is a Gurugram-based B2B platform.

It connects agri-input retailers with suppliers, offering a wide range of products, credit services, and delivery.

The company has quickly become a trusted partner for 25,000 retailers, who serve and educate 15 million farmers.

Recently, AGRIM raised ₹145 crore ($17.3 million) in a Series B funding round led by Asia Impact. Existing investors also participated.

Unitus Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor. With this funding, AGRIM plans to expand operations across India and strengthen its tech capabilities.

AGRIM currently lists over 30,000 SKUs from 1,200 manufacturers. It streamlines pricing, offers credit, and manages logistics.

It also provides real-time market intelligence, helping retailers stay informed about price shifts and demand trends.

Suppliers benefit too; they gain access to a reliable retailer network, along with fulfilment services and timely payments.

Co-founders Garg and Jain emphasised that their vision is to make AGRIM the preferred platform for agri-input retailers.

They noted that the newly raised funds would help advance this goal by strengthening the company’s technology and expanding its team.

Before this round, AGRIM raised $10 million in Series A funding led by Kalaari Capital.

Its investor pool also includes Omnivore and Accion. To date, AGRIM has raised a total of $38.6 million.

The company has shown strong financial growth. It reported a revenue of ₹159 crore in FY22–23, up from ₹65.1 crore in FY21–22.

AGRIM’s current valuation stands at ₹633 crore. It faces competition from 39 companies, eight of which are also funded.

It was observed that AGRIM’s growth and focus on innovation align well with the mission to support scalable and impactful solutions.

With its tech-driven model and strong backing, AGRIM is poised to reshape India’s agricultural supply chain.
