A Gym That Comes to Your Doorstep

Fitness does not always need a dedicated gym, expensive machines or a long commute.

In Bengaluru, two young trainers have turned that idea into a mobile fitness model that brings the workout directly to apartment communities.

Rithwik Radhakrishnan and Bhoomika Jayanna launched Maruti Eeco and removed its seats. Next, they fitted the van with plywood storage boxes.

These hold dumbbells, kettlebells, slam balls, medicine balls, resistance bands and Unleash 45 in January 2026.


Their innovation is simple but practical: instead of asking residents to visit a gym, they bring a compact gym to them.

The idea took shape after the trainers began conducting fitness sessions in apartment complexes. They soon faced a common problem.

Residents and trainers often disagreed over access to equipment in community gyms. So, the duo decided to carry their own equipment.

They bought a second-hand Maruti Eeco and removed its seats. Next, they fitted the van with plywood storage boxes.

These hold dumbbells, kettlebells, slam balls, medicine balls, resistance bands and other equipment. The boxes also double as workout platforms during sessions.

The entire setup cost around ₹4 lakh to ₹ also changes how workouts are designed. Instead of relying on fixed gym machines, Unleash 45 focuses on mobility exercises and whole-body strength training. Trainers modify concept attract a growing community.

The initiative began with five members. It now has around 80 to 1005 lakh. The trainers funded it themselves.

They now drive the van to apartment communities, unload the equipment and conduct 45-to-50-minute sessions in common spaces.

The approach also changes how workouts are designed. Instead of relying on fixed gym machines, Unleash 45 focuses on mobility exercises and whole-body strength training.

Trainers modify movements according to individual needs, including those of older adults and beginners.

That accessibility has helped the concept attract a growing community. The initiative began with five members. It now has around 80 to 100 active members across group and personal training.

For residents such as 70-year-old Usha Sekhar, the mobile model removed one major barrier: getting to a gym. gym, but in changing where fitness happens. She started with 2.5-kg weights and now lifts up to 7.5 kg. She has also progressed to doing push-ups.

By taking equipment, trainers and structured workouts into residential communities, Unleash 45 is making strength training more convenient and approachable.

Meanwhile, the founders are looking beyond Bengaluru. They are considering a larger vehicle and expansion into Kerala and Kolkata.

The innovation lies not in creating another conventional gym, but in changing where fitness happens.

By taking equipment, trainers and structured workouts into residential communities, Unleash 45 is making strength training more convenient and approachable.
