Vaccinated people can get various gifts in MP | Fusion - WeRIndia

Several business organizations are offering gifts to vaccinated people in Madhya Pradesh to encourage them towards vaccination.

The Madhya Pradesh government launched a mega campaign on Monday to vaccinate all eligible people in the state.

In this context, many people and business organizations are encouraging people to get vaccinated by offering gifts. These include bus tickets, selfie sticks, and kitchen appliances like refrigerators in lucky draws.

Govind Sharma, the president of Prime Route Bus Owners Association, said that they are offering free bus tickets to passengers going for vaccination at the Navlaka vaccination centre. Drivers, conductors and cleaners are getting vaccinated against COVID-19 at this centre. All people getting vaccinated at this centre can use the free ride offer to go to the vaccination centre.

To contain the spread of the COVID-19, vaccination is essential. That’s why many state governments launched vaccination drives. However, in some parts of the state, people do not show interest in getting vaccinated and the response is not as much as expected in some places. Hence, some business organizations believe that offering gifts encourages more people to get the vaccination.

In Madhya Pradesh, vaccination centres have been set up at different places, including shopping malls. The officials said that it is the first time to set up vaccination centres in shopping malls in Indore.

Karan Chhabra, the owner of these shopping malls, is offering selfie sticks and other gifts immediately to those who get vaccinated at these centres. Also, they are offered snacks at vaccine centres.

Besides, a lucky draw will be conducted for all those getting their vaccination at these centre. They are offered kitchen appliances as gifts in the lucky draw. These include refrigerators and other such gifts.

16,73,858 vaccine doses have been inoculated in the mega drive in Madhya Pradesh.
