Medals India won in Asian Games 2014 by 21 September 2014
India won a total of 4 medals; 1 gold medal and 3 bronze medals in Asian games 2014 as of Sunday. Currently India occupied 10th position and ties with Hong Kong.
India’s account is opened with a bronze medal that was won by Shweta Chaudhry at 10m Air Pistol. Jitu Rai won a gold medal at the 50m Air Pistol event on Saturday. Both these medal were achieved on the first day i.e. on Saturday.
The team of Jitu Rai, Samresh Jung and Prakash Nanjappa won a bronze medal in Men’s 10m Air Pistol Team event. Another bronze medal was won by Indian women’s badminton team on Sunday. The bronze medal that India has won in the women’s team event is India’s first in Asian Games badminton since 1986.
