AAP’s promises for Delhi Assembly Elections

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released a guarantee card with promises for the upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections.

These include free electricity (up to 200 units), drinking water to all, quality education to children etc.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal made many promises to Delhhites on Sunday.

He gave 10 guarantees to the city and assured free schemes would continue in the next five years as well.

Here is a list of AAP’s promises:

  • The CM assures 24 hours uninterrupted power supply and 200 units of free electricity to all. Underground cables will be used for wiring.
  • 24-hour pure piped drinking water to every household and 20,000 liters of free water scheme will be continued.
  • Quality education is provided to every child in Delhi till graduation.
  • Free and better healthcare facilities will be provided to all people. More Mohalla clinics and polyclinics will also be established.
  • AAP assures to provide the cheapest transportation facility to Delhites. The free bus travel for women will also be continued if they come to power again. In addition to that, students will also be provided with free travel.
  • Pucca houses will be built to people living in slums under the Jahan Jhuggi Wahin Makan scheme.
  • Kejriwal also assures to enhance safety measures to women. Mohalla marshals will also be deployed to make city safer for women.
  • AAP has also to make a clean and shining Delhi in the next five years. It assured to make the city garbage-free.
  • Aiming to make the city pollution-free, two crore trees will be planted. It also assured a clean Yamuna river.
  • Roads, water supply, sewage facilities, Mohalla clinics and CCTV are assured for unauthorized colonies.
