EdCIL opens 879 Vacancies for autism centres in AP
EdCIL (India) Ltd has announced a major recruitment drive for multidisciplinary staff and PMU Consultants under the Inclusive Education-PM SHRI initiative in Andhra Pradesh.
The organisation released the official notification on 22 May 2026 for appointments at Autism Centres across different municipalities in the state.
The recruitment aims to fill 879 contractual positions, including therapists, psychologists, special educators, and consultants.
Interested candidates can submit applications online until 04 June 2026 through the official recruitment portal.
The largest share of vacancies includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Speech Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, and Special Educators.
Each category has 125 posts available. Additionally, four PMU Consultant positions have also been announced.
Most selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration of ₹30,000. However, Special Educators at the primary level will receive ₹25,000 per month, while PMU Consultants will earn ₹55,000 monthly.
Candidates applying for these positions must possess qualifications from recognised institutions. Several posts also require valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Furthermore, preference will be given to candidates with relevant professional experience.
For Special Educator positions, applicants must qualify AP TET or CTET in Special Education.
Secondary-level educators need AP TET Paper-2B qualification, whereas primary-level candidates must clear Paper-1B.
The upper age limit for all posts is 45 years as of 30 April 2026. Moreover, EdCIL clarified that the recruitment is purely contractual and will not guarantee permanent employment or future regularisation.
Selection will be based on academic qualifications, professional experience, and interviews conducted by the competent authority.
Shortlisted candidates will receive interview communication through registered email IDs only.
The organisation also instructed applicants to upload educational certificates, resumes, and experience documents in PDF format.
Incomplete applications or incorrect information may lead to immediate rejection.
According to the notification, the workplace will be Autism Centres established across Andhra Pradesh under the PM SHRI Inclusive Education programme.
The initiative aims to strengthen specialised educational and rehabilitation services for children with autism and developmental conditions.
Importantly, candidates do not need to pay any application fee for these posts. Therefore, eligible professionals from therapy, psychology, and special education backgrounds have a valuable opportunity to apply without financial burden.
