The CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) invites applications for 31 Scientist positions.

The following are details about the posts:

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in the relevant fields, with specializations as follows:

• Scientist S-11: Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences/Chemistry with expertise in fluorination or organofluorine chemistry.
• Scientist S-13: Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences/Chemistry with a focus on enzyme-catalyzed synthesis, biotransformation, or biocatalysis.
• Scientist S-15: Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences/Chemistry specializing in theoretical organic chemistry.

They should have the following experience to apply for the posts.

In other words, practical experience in research or industry is required, as detailed below:

• S-11: Molecule design and synthesis, fluorine-based reactions, and work with autoclave reactors or vapour phase fluorination.
• S-13: Enzyme-based organic synthesis, transformation techniques, and API process development.
• S-15: Expertise in computational chemistry, reaction mechanisms, DFT, AI/ML, and spectroscopic data interpretation.

Those who want to apply must not exceed 32 years.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration of up to ₹1,34,907. It includes all allowances.
