Bengaluru is the “ooru” of the oeuvre. Or the land of technological innovation. This year’s “The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 India 2014″ report pointed out that Bengaluru is the hub for tech companies, even as 17 of the top 50 companies are based here, five of which are in the top 10.

Currently, the fastest growing tech company here is the Internet company Edureka, or Brain4ce Education Solutions Private Limited. It has shown a revenue growth of 2768% in the last three years. This is the fastest growing online education platform offering live instructor-led technology and business courses to professionals and students. It is the market leader in big data analytics, mobility and business intelligence domains. Edureka helps individuals and organizations to build up their skills and specialize in new, upcoming technology for the industry.

Ranked second after Edureka is another Bengaluru-based firm, the Happiest Mind Technologies Private Limited. Its three-year revenue growth of 2377% is amazing. This company provides disruptive technology solutions across various industries with a focus on big data, mobility, cloud transformation and business intelligence.

Third in the list is the Delhi-based online restaurant discovery guide Zomato, with a revenue growth rate of 1399% over the last three years. Deloitte has made it clear that although software companies have a significant place in the rankings, the Internet-based business moves them up among the top five this year, according to Deloitte. Software companies account for six of the top 10, while internet companies added up to three.
