Preity Zinta to return to Mumbai today, says ‘not selling my Kings XI Punjab stake’
Preity Zinta will return to Mumbai on Thursday to record her statement over the complaint filed by her against her former boyfriend Ness Wadia accusing him of misbehaving with her in public.
Ahead of her return, Preity Zinta tweeted that she was not selling her stake in IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab, nor was she settling in the US.
“A big thank you to all the people for the support. Amazed at how much speculation in the media. No I’m not selling my stake or settling in the US, ” Preity tweeted.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria said that the police have written to Preity Zinta’s lawyer,
asking her to record a supplementary statement.
Earlier the Wadia Group had filed a complaint with the police, alleging that group Chairman Nusli Wadia
has been receiving threat calls from the underworld. The police have taken note of the incident and will verify the threat.
