Dhanteras' sales hit a New Record | Fusion - WeRIndia

The festival of Dhanteras generally sees a lot of sales due to the sentiment of people. Due to the sentiment of buying on Dhanteras, the sales sky rocketed on Tuesday. Due to the boom of the festival, companies and brands have seen an increase of 7-8 times in sales when compared to daily volumes.

Hero MotoCorp, the biggest two wheeler maker of the country has stated that there was a huge increase of sales on the auspicious day as it is considered to a good thing to purchase metals on that day. The sales of Hero MotoCorp has increased to 1.5 lakh units on that day from the regular 18,000 units. The retail sales of Hyundai has increased from 1,200 daily units to 8,100 units. The senior VP at Hyundai India, Rakesh Srivastava stated that when compared to last Dhanteras, the sales volume has increased by 19%.

The traffic at showrooms has increased heavily due to people wanting delivery on the auspicious day. Many jewelry showrooms has seen high increase in sales volumes. Jewellers have stated that the sales went up by nearly 30% this year when compared to the last year.
